PDF Merge & Combiner
Merge two or more PDF files securely with drag-and-drop page reordering and fast client-side compilation using WebAssembly and pdf-lib. Zero files are uploaded to any server.
What is the PDF Merge & Combiner?
This tool combines multiple separate PDF documents into a single, organized PDF file with custom page ordering, processed entirely inside your browser.
Binary Object Stream Concatenation and Catalog Rebuilding
A PDF is a structured tree of indirect objects (dictionaries, streams, content arrays, and font resources) indexed by a Cross-Reference (XRef) table. Merging requires copying page objects from each source PDF into a fresh Document Catalog, renumbering object identifiers to prevent collisions, updating internal page tree references, and generating a clean trailer dictionary and XRef index.
